Mass lobby

I'm here blogging from a room inside Westminster at the No Recourse mass lobby to hear from activists after they meet their MPs:

First is Veronica from North Herts – she has come today because she feels particularly strongly about the No Recourse rule after reading the report produced by Amnesty + Southall Black Sisters and also because she knows of cases where women have been turned away from neighbouring constituency because of the no recourse rule. Her MP Oliver Heald (Cons) was not available, so she met the researcher – he didn't know much about but was taking notes and left him with list of asks, he seemed receptive and was asking lots of questions, seemed shocked. Next she will write to MP outlining the situation and repeating the three requests.
