First time

Well, this is it then. My very first attempt at a blog. My kids say I am too old for this but, hey, I'll give it a go anyway…

 So, why am I doing this? I am now 44 years old and I have this inner urge to do something more than sit and quietly watch the world go by.

There are some situations which make life just a bit crappy. And yet, with a little bit of concerted effort, we can make it a little bit better.

And here I am. I will be using these pages to express my thoughts and ideas, to let you know of things that are going on, and to hopefully make a difference.

I hope to be able to enthuse a few people along the way, so if you want to, why not let me know what floats your boat too? Many hands make light work, they say.
