Roxana Saberi - Iranian espionage trial

Iranian-American journalist, Roxana Saberi, has won the rights to defend herself case against accusation of espionage against Iran.
Ms Saberi, a freelancer for the National
Public Radio and BBC, has been sentenced to eight years, to be served in Tehran's infamous Evin prison, for spying
against Iran.

beaten up by a gang in Moscow. Lev Ponomaryov, 67, of the For Human Rights
group, had spoken out in defence of the jailed anti-Kremlin oligarch Mikhail
